Why WhatsApp automation breaks when more than one person needs it

A single number on someone's phone works until two team members need to reply to the same customer, or the business needs to send a scheduled broadcast to a thousand contacts without getting the number flagged. At that point 'WhatsApp automation' stops being a phone with auto-reply and becomes a real system: shared session state, queued sending with rate limits respected, and a UI multiple agents can work from concurrently.

Baileys or the official WhatsApp Business API — which do we need?

It depends on volume, budget and compliance requirements. Baileys is lower-cost and faster to stand up for smaller volumes; the official Business API is the compliant path for higher-volume or enterprise use and comes with WhatsApp's own rate limits and approval process. We'll recommend based on your actual numbers.

How do you prevent broadcast messages from getting our number banned?

Rate-limited, queued sending that respects WhatsApp's messaging limits, plus opt-in list hygiene — sending unsolicited bulk messages to a cold list is the main way numbers get flagged, regardless of the technical implementation.

Can multiple team members reply from the same WhatsApp number simultaneously?

Yes — that's the core of the shared inbox: realtime sync means every agent sees the same conversation state, and the system prevents duplicate replies to the same message.

What happens if the WhatsApp session disconnects unexpectedly?
